There is a chart on the above link that describes how to get a limited micro license. The first box says that the applicant must meet the education and training requirements first. Then he or she passes the M(ASCP) exam and then passes the CA laws quiz to get the license. The key is your education and lab training which I believe is a 1 year program.
If CA doesn't recognize your work in a micro department, your best bet is to try the micro CLS program at Quest in san juan capistrano. It's only 1 year and they pay you $11 an hour. The downside is you have to work for them for 2 years after that.[/QUOTE]
