Hi Michelle,
I have really enjoyed reading this post, and I would love to hear how you are doing now, and if you are still glad that you made the choice to switch from nursing to CLS.
I am in a similar situation. I am currently in nursing school and work as a CNA. I can already tell that this isn't for me. It's not the work that I don't like, it is seeing how miserable the nurses are and how much stress there is with this job. I just dont think the stress will be worth it, especially since I am married with four kids and I dont want to bring the stress home to them. I am thinking of leaving nursing school to pursue my degree in CLS. The only problem is the closest school that offers a BS-Clinical Studies is about 2 hours away. I could manage that, but I'm also nervous because I feel I might not be "smart enough" for all those science classes. I did relatively well in my science prerequisites for nursing (Anatomy, Physio, Micro, Chemistry). I got B's in those, but not sure if that is good enough. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you so much!
