Medical Technologist Forum - Going no where with a BA in psychology?: I just turned 33 years old on June 21st....

I just turned 33 years old on June 21st..first day of summer. I feel so old and like I'm such a loser, married and still living with parents. The teacher's aide job pays only $14/hour but it's better than no income at all. I want to go back to school online, rather than going to a campus based school because I think it's more convenient and I won't feel so old out of a bunch of 20 year olds. My only dilemma is taking out student loans. I really don't want to go into debt since I was lucky in undergrad that I had a scholarship and help from parents to pay for school. I am hoping that I can save up the money from this part-time job but it would take forever to save up to pay for graduate school. Don't know how I'm going to get money to pay for the program without going into debt. I'm hearing that it's getting saturated in NJ for speech therapy and I definitely don't want to graduate with debt and no job. How would I pay back the debt if I don't have a job after graduating? Can you defer on payments? Wouldn't that ruin your credit? Can anyone here let me know how much you paid a month for loan payments? Is it a lot or is it manageable? My younger brother is paying $1,000 a month for his debt from graduate school. He's now living at home. He tells me it will take many years to pay back. That scares the hell out of me. I don't know what I would do, but I feel safer paying for school upfront than going into debt, just that it would take a while to save up the money. Help! Don't know what to do!
