I interviewed with UCSD a couple of years ago, and I know what gakutenou means by being bombarded with questions. Compared to SJSU/SFSU, they asked a lot of questions. I'm not sure if they hold interviews in the same room every year, but when I interviewed, it was a very small room, and we were seated at a very small table, so all the interviewers were right in your face. The interviewers were all very nice though, so I didn't feel too intimidated. They start off with your typical job interview questions, some questions about your interest in the CLS field, and then they ask you some situational questions (I don't remember the specifics but something like "You have 1hr left in your shift, you have to run 4 tests all of which take 30min each, and you are only supposed to do one at a time... what do you do?")
