I worked at a hospital for 3 years and I'm currently working at a reference lab. I kind of liked the hospital better. The reference lab is very big and it's very factory-like. Flightless bird is right, it does get very monotonous in the reference lab. The only pros so far for me and no phone calls from angry doctors or nurses, and higher pay.
