UCSD CLS program asks a lot of situational questions, which is different from SJSU and CSULA. It's not easy to answer, but somehow I really like their questions. I got flustered and nervous at some point, but overall I enjoyed the talk with them. The interviewers are kind, easy-going, and I made them laugh sometimes. I think these kinds of questions help them to understand better about the candidates' personality, leadership skills, work ethics, communication skills, extracurriculum activities, and critical thinking ability. I don't think it matters much that we have to give the perfect answers as they expected, but the most important factor is that they want to know HOW we solve the problems in our own way. It may not be the best solution, but it need to show our effort& devotion to the patients at work. I may not be successful, but I tried my best, and I had a good time anyway.
Hi ViVii, did you personally meet the program administrators before you applied? Do they accept people with less than a 3.0 gpa? What do you think I should do to increase my chances of getting in?
