Hello! I am new to this forum, and I am considering a B.S. degree in Medical Technology. I live Cleveland, Ohio and plan on applying to Cleveland State University for the Medical Technology program in 2015. At first I was going to choose the general track for B.S. in Biology. The Medical Technology program is not vastly different from the general track. My question is, would medical technology be a wise track to choose? I understand it includes one year of clinical training, I am okay with that. I would like to go to graduate school after I receive my bachelors. In my opinion, I think it would be beneficial to gain laboratory experience, and to pay off student loans before I go to graduate school (hey, I might fall in love with it!). I am considering becoming a veterinarian. Also, if my idea is a bad one, what can the degree be a good base for?
