The previous batch had the topic "In 300 words or less, sell the CLS profession to a person that is interested". I remember copying out of my personal statement for this one. This is to verify that you wrote your personal statement and to fulfill one of the requirements for SFSU Graduate Studies.
They'll e-mail you the affiliate information and dates if you make it past faculty interview, but when I did it it didn't include weekends. A lot of the people doing affiliate tours had to take PTO if they were working. At the time I just passed my MLT boards and was also job searching, so not working helped me in this case as well as having a family member in the Bay Area that I can use as home base. But most hospital coordinators do want to meet their potential trainee(s), if you explain your situation they can be flexible.
Hi gakutenou,
This is an old thread but I am hoping this message find you well. Do you remember how many lab tour did you participate? Also do you know how many candidates were chosen for thr second interview and how many were finally accepted in your cycle? Thanks.
