I'm attending school in the fall. However I don't want to get a straight up degree in biology due to my work schedule, class schedules at university, having a young child, etc. I'm curious about those who might not have gotten a life sciences degree and still got into MT school (say for career change purposes). Is it possible to do all the prerequisites but major in something else altogether? I'm considering a major in healthcare systems management at my university. I work as a specimen processor in a lab and I've seen job postings at my employer say "a BA/BS with 16 credit hours in biology, 12 credit hours in chemistry, and 3 in mathematics", which makes me wonder about the exact education requirements for this field. Thanks!
