Hello,
I'm not sure if you still are looking for answers, but I was in a similar boat a few years ago. (Bio/Pre-Med degree from UMass Amherst). I found the program mentioned in Pittsfield and reached out to Lori. She is very accommodating and will definitely answer any questions you have. Ultimately, getting your MLS is the best route, especially in regards to pay. A program such as the one at Berkshire Medical Center does not require you to be concurrently enrolled at a 4 year university (in an MLS program), but there are limits to the states in which you can work after you graduate and pass the boards. I applied to and graduated from the program at BMC after making the decision to go for the MLS and also worked at BMC for a while afterward. It is a great environment, especially for the clinical year, and their graduates have a 100% exam success rate. If you have not already done so, I suggest reaching out to Lori!
