Wow I'm very surprised that you got into the SFSU CLS program with such a low GPA(no offense). I really want to know how you got in? Was it the personal statement and/or interview? How did you make up for your GPA and lack of experience? Isn't CLS very competitive? I'm a 2nd year biochem major interested in becoming a CLS. But considering that CLS is the only viable, high paying and stable job for life science majors, I was thinking of switching to engineering as a backup. I don't plan on going to grad school for biochem, so just a BS biochem is pretty useless unless it will help me get into CLS. I was thinking of doing engineering and fulfilling the CLS prereqs. Do CLS programs have a GPA cutoff? Like a certain GPA to be interviewed or have the application reviewed?
Thanks,
Ralph
