You already have a bachelors in a science field.
You do not need to go back to regular college.
What you need to do now is get accepted into a clinical internship program at a hospital in your area.
I can't post links in this indeed forum but you need to go to google search and type NAACLS. Click on their website, click on students, and click "find a program".
You can contact the program directors and apply for an internship spot. If you complete that 6 month-1 year program you can sit for your exam.
