I am a student looking to get into the field. I hear it's a " stepping stone " to other professions. I go back and forth between med lab technologist or nursing. I am kinda shy and like to keep to myself at times. But I am nervous bc I hear that med tech aren't paid much. It will be 2 years until I graduate. I hear there are shortages and that technology may even put techs out a jobs which is crazy. I just want to have some feedback from some one working in the field and if I should go thru the hard schooling of it. Thanks
