I think what really matters is the bachelor degree. I have a bachelors in biology and finishing up my associates in mlt . The ascp required that I have at least 2 years experience, which I do not understand that because technically I am over qualified being that I am a originally a biology science. major. Looking at the bachelors in medical technology the only real difference between mlt is the core science classes WHICH I ALREADY HAVE its really confusing. I feel like I should be eligible to sit for the ascp without the 2 year experience requirement. Guess I will just take amt as well
